Spring is the time for renewal and refreshing. We are doing a refresh to the look of our business. The logo stays the same, but the font is changing from script to an easier to read font.

Why make the change? Cursive writing hasn’t been taught in schools for years. While it was once common to see documents written out, it is not the case today. It’s the same with computers and electronics. What was once common practice is now impractical.

What do you need to renew and refresh for spring?

Here are a few recommendations:

  • Look for good deals on Windows 11 computers. Windows 10 computers will start fading away this fall which means Microsoft will no longer support for anything below Windows 11.
  • Change passwords. My recommendation is to change passwords at least every six months. If your email address has been compromised, then change your email password immediately. To see if your email has been compromised, go to haveibeenpwned.com.
  • Check you battery backups to make sure they are still working correctly. They usually last around 3 years. they start beeping if you need to replace anything. Replacement batteries cost half the price of a new unit. My recommendation is if your unit is in good shape, just get a new battery. Otherwise a new unit will be your best choice.
  • Use Disk Cleanup, which is built into Windows, or CCleaner is a third party app you can use that has both a free and paid option.

If you implement the four recommendations above, you should be more than prepared for the rest of this year.
